How it all began

Their love story began in a second-floor, corner classroom of the Gerdin Business Building at Iowa State University. Their first date was a hike through Ledges State Park. They graduated two years later from Iowa State University ready to take on Milwaukee, WI. They have fallen in love with the shores of Lake Michigan and everything Wisconsin has to offer. On a cold, dreary, wet day during a surprise trip to Maine, Shawn proposed to Emma at the Portland Headlight; officially marking the start of their lives together.
